The Hood // El Raval.
The Good // This 300 m2 warehouse, which didn’t really have a roof when its architect founders moved in, has 12 of its 24 co-working spaces available (180€/month for 180 x 90cm + shelf space). They haven’t been around for long and are not interested in just anyone moving in. It doesn’t do much good to have 24 graphic designers in the same co-working space. The access: 24/7. Ping-pong? Yes. And this kitchenette wins.
The Bad // While they’ve done well to let in as much light as possible, this is Carretes, sabes? The sala de reuniones isn’t enclosed, though there are plans to glass it in.
The Oh My God // First of all, a round of applause for the renovations. The old brick contrasts perfectly with the wooden beams and black metal joints. Secondly, they’re going to do what with the sizeable back patio? A multicolored illuminated jacuzzi? With a garden wall behind it made of original shillings from what was left of the original roof? Wowww. Co-working and co-laxing.
