It happened. Independence has been declared. Does that leave things any clearer for us? No. Will it last? What will it be like? Will the EU tack? The funny thing is, we still think un referendum pactado would be the fairest and most democratic way out of this misery. But there’s little light at the end of that tunnel. So while we all participate peacefully (hopefully) in this new procés, let’s dedicate some time to other pressing socio-political issues and initiatives that make our city tick.
