In a space large enough for a small brewery, owners Quim  and Angie set up a shop that doubles as a place to taste (it’s not officially a bar). In true Poblenou fashion, coming to La Cervecita is like coming home to rest, and while it’s more action packed at the weekend, on a lazy evening entre-semana you’ll join a handful of barrio locals for the calmest, least pretentious beer you could imagine under a five meter high roof and sans bullshit television distraction. Just you, a beer, a bartender and a room full of bottles. Hallelujah! You can choose from over 100 of those bottles at any given moment and also from five brews on tap, one of which is a tasty IPA conceived, if not brewed, in house and in honor of their daughter Júlia. It’s very tasty. So pull up a stool under the watchful eye of the massive painted woman holding bushels of barley and relax into a real English pint (size-wise).
